Pork Tenderloin or shoulder “butt” roast
1 medium onion, sliced
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 cup root beer or coke
1 cup water
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
Place sliced onion, garlic, root beer or coke and water in the crock pot. Put the pork in next and pour the worcestershire sauce and about 1/2 cup bbq sauce on top. Cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 7-8 hours. Drain the extra liquid and if you used a roast then pick through and discard the fat. Shred the pork with two forks and add your favorite bbq sauce to your desired consistancy.
We normally serve this on hamburger buns and it’s sooo good! Serve with coleslaw and french fries or baked beans, maybe a pickle or some chips! Lots of options!! 🙂 It’s even good if you top the pork with the coleslaw! yum!
